4-on-4: Nike Hoop Summit Day 2 Reactions
The No Ceilings crew reacts to Day 2 of the Nike Hoop Summit.
Who has been the biggest standout for you so far?
Tyler Rucker: A.J. Dybantsa for me. Coming into this week, there was going to be a wide range of names that were expected to generate some buzz for scouts and evaluators for the 2025 NBA Draft. But Dybantasa is a look into the future. Participating with the World squad this year, the 17-year-old will be in the running for the top selection in the 2026 NBA Draft. Listed at 6’8”, I was expecting to be impressed with A.J.’s upside, but the smoothness to his game was remarkable for his age. He’s a bad dude on the court. Getting to his spots and showcasing impressive composure and feel. Plenty are excited about Cameron Boozer for the 2026 class. If A.J. Dybantsa is a “consolation prize…” then some team is going to be lucky.
Corey Tulaba: After last year’s lackluster roster, it feels good to have this choice rack my brain a little, but I’m going to go with Prolific Prep’s AJ Dybantsa. Still just 17 years old, Dybantsa is an elite shotmaker with elite wing size. The bag is deeeeep. He’s got the hesi-jimbo, faders, real range, and the bounce is crazy. Dybantsa almost ended Chocmche’s draft prospects during a team scrimmage with a near poster that back-rimmed simply because he tried punching it too aggressively. Even more frightening is that Dybantsa still has another year to hone his skills and develop his body. Kid is going to be the goods.
