Thiam is unfortunately someone who I'm not super high on. Very subpar feel and poor rebounder for size. Settles for WAY too many mid-range jumpers. Shooting is more theoretical than actual.
I can see why people are so high on him though. His defense seems to be a legit positive as a defender who is pretty mobile for his size. He already has good impact metrics on that end.
There is also some potential with the 3P shot. He shot nearly 50% from mid-range and his 3P and FT numbers are passable. If Michigan works on that area of his game, his stock could rise tremendously.
Right now I feel like he's more of a 2028 guy unless he takes a MASSIVE step forward
