The Pitch
It was a bit of an up-and-down freshman campaign for Dame Sarr, but his immense defensive talent and quintessential NBA wing tools seemed to always find a way to impact winning for Duke more times than not. Sarr quite simply is one of, if not the best, collegiate perimeter defenders and defensive prospects slated for the 2027 draft.
I urge you to turn on the tape from the January 6th Duke-Louisville matchup where Duke overcame a nine-point halftime deficit that was sparked by Sarr switching on to the scorching hot Ryan Conwell and making it hell for him in the second half. Sarr brings the coveted ability to be a plus defender on the ball and at the point of attack while being a dynamic defensive playmaker thanks to his length, rangy athleticism, anticipation skills, and quick hands.
