His decision to go play for Sampson in what he knew would be a tough environment in a limited role focused namely on utilizing his defensive versatility sheds light into his character. Feels like the kid wants to work, wants to get better and relied on an important yet rare trait to get him there; humility! Love him as a prospect.
Thanks Jack, I really appreciate that. I completely agree. Houston isn't the spot you go if you want to be "the guy" as a freshman but it is if you want to get better and are willing to work. I thought it was a really cool choice on his part and everything you hear is how hard he works. Easily one of my favorite prospects in this class.
