London Jemison is the Most Slept on Freshman | New Man on Campus
Alabama found an ideal fit in London Jemison who has the day one skill set and upside that could make him an earlier pick in the 2026 NBA Draft than you may initially think.
Too often in sports, the importance of fit gets overlooked. From a scouting perspective, it can totally skew an evaluation in the wrong direction because the player is simply in an unfavorable context. When the fit is right, though, the prospect is put in a terrific position to succeed and show off a tantalizing skillset that had previously been slept on. For the 2026 NBA Draft class, there are few prospects who this applies to more than Alabama’s new man on campus, London Jemison.
Despite being a four-star recruit and heading to one of the most successful programs in recent years, Jemison has been woefully slept on. The 6’8” 205-pound wing ended up as the 34th-ranked recruit via RSCI. Frankly, that makes zero sense to me. Jemison isn’t a perfect player, but his combination of size, shooting, and defense is what every team covets.
