The G League Ignite finally came to the Chicagoland area! I couldn’t pass up an easy opportunity to see so many high-end draft prospects in one place. Here’s what I saw.

Matas Buzelis

24 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, two assists, one turnover

9-20 FG, 2-7 3FG, 2-3 FT

Matas Buzelis was unquestionably the best player on the floor for the Ignite team. It wasn’t a perfect game for the Chicago native, but it was encouraging. Yeah, sure, he looked skinny in person. That said, he did look better than I expected, especially in terms of his broad his shoulders were.
