After the arduous, wondrous process that is draft season, it’s finally time to sit back and enjoy the chaos of the NBA draft. The tape has been watched, the queries have been run, and the words (mostly) have been written about the prospects themselves and their respective seasons.
And what a season it was! From the greatness of Cooper Flagg to the surprising rise of Jeremiah Fears, there have been dozens of fascinating storylines to follow. It’s hard to stay plugged into every piece of intel during draft season, but that’s okay! We’ve done our part to have you covered from as many angles as we could, while also exploring the draft in ways you may not have thought possible.
While this series was meant to be made up of steady, cyclic articles, that didn’t turn out to be the case. Life got in the way of that consistency, but it also served this column well to act as my mental dumping ground when the timing made sense.
Perhaps it made for confusing reading for you all, and if so, I apologize. However, the purpose of this scouting notebook was to keep you informed about my thoughts. Now, with the draft mere days away, it’s worth looking at where I’ve landed on my Ouija Board itself. Who did I rank where and why? What other conclusions did I come to about this class?
