Things are starting to heat up for the 2024 NBA Draft cycle. Talent is starting to climb amongst the ranks with others looking like potential party crashers.
Things are starting to get interesting around here. The 2024 NBA draft cycle has brought forth plenty of excitement and challenges. There’s plenty of questions still that need to be answered moving forward.
Who is in the conversation for the top overall pick? Who is going to seperate themselves as potential candidates to go in the Top 5? What prospects are going to be viewed as “highly regarded” in NBA circles?
It’s an important upcoming couple of months for the draft space. The international season is still young, as teams will have their regular seasons continuing well beyond the end of college basketball. But with March Madness peeking its head around the corner, this is the time of the year in which prospects can start to convince NBA personnel they are a “this year” candidate.
Plenty of names have started to make some noise as of late. Some of those names were viewed at the beginning of the year as talents who could need a couple of years in college before making the jump to the next level. Due to some impressive stretches of play, those individuals have NBA evaluators pondering why they shouldn’t be in consideration for the 2024 class.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel down a rabbit hole and consume as much tape as I can get my hands on over the last couple of weeks. Here are some thoughts I have moving forward about some intriguing names who could start to position themselves as “climbers” for the 2024 NBA draft.
