The first week of hoops has come! After months of having to go without meaningful prospect evaluation film, we have been blessed with some fun matchups and performances. While it is a ton of fun to see how the headliners in the 2026 NBA Draft Class are doing, I truly have just as much fun (probably more) seeing how some of the players that I am unfamiliar with are performing.
Truth be told, some of the games the sleeper prospects are playing in are more equal in team talent than watching a blue blood annihilate “Whoever State University”. In those sorts of games, the talent will typically rise to the top. After scouring film, I will present some of the prospects that pull on the heartstrings of the quintessential “Draft Sickos” of the world.
