The P.I.T Diaries: Day Three Recap
Stephen and Jam recap Day Three of the 2025 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament!
Jam: Day Three of the PIT set the stage for players either looking to build off their momentum established in the opening games or looking to recover from shaky openers. Not only that, but teams were also competing for positioning for Championship Saturday. With a lot at stake, this was one of my favorite days of the event.
Stephen: Day Three of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament did not disappoint, and consisted of some of my favorite performances. The overwhelming feeling of community continued to shine through, as I met with even more amazing people—gleaning from their areas of expertise, and sharing notes and thoughts on the players that were out there. My evil plan of hyping up players like Viktor Lakhin turned up to 11 on the belief-meter, with the NBA scouts I spoke to unanimously agreeing that he has been special. The buzz for names like Kobe Sanders and Nate Santos has started to grow more palpable. In general, there were some names that scouts really wanted another opportunity to see.
Jam and I got you covered on who performed well and who surprised us during this fantastic day of hoops.
