The P.I.T Diaries: Day Two Recap
Stephen and Jam recap Day Two of the 2025 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament!
Jam: There really isn't another pre-draft event that captures the charm and excitement that the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament does. From the eye-catching Churchland High School gymnasium, the beautiful city of Portsmouth, the countless number of NBA and overseas decision makers in attendance, and the competitive atmosphere of draft hopefuls and scrappy underdogs, it’s an unbelievable environment with a historically deep field this year. With a full slate of games on tap, Day Two didn't disappoint.
Stephen: As much fun as I had during day one, the second day of being in Portsmouth was a ton of fun. I was able to connect with more amazing people. Also, I was able to connect with some of the No Ceiling crew—which is always a ton of fun! The majority of the agents I spoke to have been very impressed with the depth of this group, with Viktor Lakhin being the name I heard most frequently as the player who stole the first day. Who they were really excited to see on the second day was Cameron Matthews—a name you may have heard discussed during the “Sicko Bowl”.
As always with these types of tournaments, some things happened that we expected. There were also some pleasant surprises. Jam and I will take you through the names of the players who really stood out to us.
