Jake Stephens is 7'0" with a 7'10" wingspan, and he's hit 45.1% of his threes the past two seasons. The Chattanooga big man is one of the most interesting and exciting sleepers in the 2023 NBA Draft!
Jake Stephens is, indeed, a beast on the court, but the best thing about him is that he he is terrific young man. I have had the privilege of watching him mature since Little League and youth football. He is, to put it succinctly, squared away.
So are scouts not watching Jokic and rethinking their perception on bigs who skilled and not the best athletes? Because I just wonder every year we look at the same prospects and I wonder when a shift happens in what gets valued. But hey evolution is slow. Denver draft Stephens or Edey because they produce.

Couldn’t agree more after interviewing him. Very mature and knows his stuff.
Mike Muscala as a comp? Nonathletic big with catch-and-shoot ability, and the chance to stick on a roster purely as a stretch big.
Definitely one that has been discussed in the No Ceilings group chat!
