The No Ceilings crew put together V.4 of their BIG Board for the 2023 NBA Draft cycle.
The 2022-23 NBA season is officially heading to the stretch run, with All-Star Weekend looming before the final push for the playoffs—or the final tanking run for the less successful teams. College basketball is also nearing the stretch run, with conference tournaments looming and with the first games of March Madness just one short month away.
As NBA teams start preparing for the draft, the draft chatter continues to heat up. Over here at No Ceilings, of course, we’ve been deep in the weeds for many months now, searching across the prospect landscape for intrigue in an intrigue-heavy 2023 NBA Draft class.
With the final slate of games for college players and many international prospects rapidly approaching, this is the time for some prospects to make a late charge into the draft discussion. This was right about the time last year when Ousmane Dieng and Dalen Terry really started to heat up, and they made messes of draft boards everywhere.
So, who might that prospect be for this cycle? There is still time for some of those players to make the case for themselves—and some of those prospects have already started to turn heads. The Top 60 might be similar at the very top of the list to V.3 of our BIG Board, but there is plenty of movement outside of the Top 2 picks—and plenty of runway left for someone to replicate the Ousmane Dieng or Dalen Terry stories from last season.
